Patrick began his career on the insurance carrier side of the business in his home state of Minnesota. Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Patrick spent much of the first 11 years of his career managing nationally recognized health plans at industry giants United Health Care of Minneapolis (Medica), and Health Net of Southern California

As National Director of Special Accounts for Health Net, he supervised and managed all client membership growth and retention, bridging industries to work with technology clients such as Rockwell, McDonnell Douglas, Hughes Aircraft and Lockheed, among others. He grew his division to over 25 account managers, marketing coordinators, assistants and fulfillment specialists and in addition, directly managed the company’s 325,000 members in California

In 1997, Patrick brought his expertise to the client-side of the business, joining Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting, bringing with him an extensive background in all phases of health and welfare benefits insurance

Currently, and for over 23 years, he has been responsible for managing employee benefits programs for local as well as nationally recognized accounts, developing a well seasoned and extensive book of accounts over time- expanding his knowledge of multi-location and sophisticated accounts. Patrick’s extensive experience base has afforded him the opportunity to represent and work with many organizations ranging from large publicly traded companies to the private held companies. His industry relationships and thorough evaluation studies have allowed his clients to implement his cost-saving recommendations saving millions in employer health care costs

Patrick attended St. Cloud University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He resides in Westlake Village, with his wife Nancy and their 4 children. He devotes a considerable amount of his time to youth sports programs and is active in many charitable and community organizations
